you realize nintendo owned half of rare right?  They obviously had first dibs on buying the studio, but opted to divest instead of invest further.  If they were hurt by rare being bought by microsoft, they have nobody to blame but themselves.  

You dont think the games that microsoft got after the buyout would have helped the wii u in sales? 

I mean would killer instinct help the wii u in sales?

a new conker? plus all the other game franchises they got. 

none of them would have helped the wii u with having better sales?
