No external HDD will be fine for me. I don't purchase digital unless on PC, will be getting a PS4 and with retail games, most allow you to start playing after less than a minute of installation. If I happen to come close to the 500GB threshhold, I'll delete all the games I don't plan returning to for awhile(or ever.)
