Domination is a word fanboys like to throw around. WiiU won't sell more than 5 million by the time it gets discontinued. PS4 will certainly beat PS3's sales LTD, not by much though as the market is still shrinking over there.

so if the market is shrinking over there, what makes you think its going to outsell the ps3? 

i dont think it will outsell the ps3. sony, with the ps3 (at least when it came out) seemed to still have the japanese gamer in mind. with the ps4, sony seems like theyre putting all their eggs in europe and the US. mainly the US. as time went on with the ps3, less and less japanese centric games were being released for it, and i think that is continuing with the ps4. i dont see the ps4 even really coming close to the ps3. the only way it can beat the ps3 is if sony makes a great concentrated effort to make software dedicated to the japanese market. 

this industry is impossible to predict sometimes because we never know what tricks these people are going to pull out of their sleeves. but i think we can all safely bet that if sony is planning on continuing down this same path, japan will not be buying very many ps4s at all.
