So, i'm a big fan of JRPG's but never really get the chance to play them on home consoles due to a lack of time. My only real opportunity with them in while traveling and since I've exhausted my supply of good 3DS JRPG's, i'm thinking of getting a Vita o/

Definitely OLED.

Persona 4 The Golden and Y's Memories of Celceta should be your prime JRPG targets. 

Gravity Rush is still on PS+, if I'm not mistaken. Not necessarily a JRPG but you still get the JRPG feel with the story and characters.

Now we only wait for Tales of Hearts R, Freedom Wars and Over My Dead Body 2.
