Regardless of all the breakdown videos no one except Nintendo and devs know the true specs of the Wii U. But capping it at 392 was it? For what the best guess at the true specs is laughable. Sony and MS laid it all out on the line, Nintendo doesnt |
Except it is unreasonable. The thing is while we may not know the specifics, we do know the power consumption of the WiiU's various parts. As fatslob said earlier in the thread, if the WiIU's GPU has the same watt to GFLOPs ratio as the most efficient 40nm GPU AMD has ever produced, then it would peak at 0.362tflop/s. Of course, in reality the WiiU's Latte is a lower end GPU, meaning it having the same efficiency is rather unlikely.
The chances of it being higher than 0.362tflop/s at that wattage are incredibly small. It's certainly not impossible, but no reasonable person would expect it.
