Oh i'm sure MK8 will make a profit, it doesn't exactly look like a particularly expensive to make game so it's unlikely it needs to sell more than a few hundred thousands copies to break even, but compared to how much they used to make i doubt they are exactly going to be running to the bank laughing :P
Still, any profit that can help them avoid another loss is nothing but good ^^
