I am still struggling to think of any person for who your outlined premise holds true.

No one individual, just people with random screen names from different sites I go to.  Usually when one game X is announced and no Wii U version is mentioned.

This is a common fallacy on the Internet. A bunch of people say this and a bunch of people say that.
