This is what happened. Period. You can play the victim card all you want, but had the XBone's sales been better, they wouldn't have removed Kinect, despite many people saying it should be removed. Otherwise, they would have removed it a long time ago, because I'm pretty sure that there's been complaints about mandatory Kinect since before the console even launched.

You really think they're removing Kinect to "be generous" and "change for the better"? If so, you're delusional, because it was 100% because they were getting trounced in sales. If "Kinect is Xbox One. They aren't separate systems" then removing Kinect wouldn't have even been an option and they would have just lowered the price to $399 without removing anything, since it is apparently as pivotal to the console as the BD drive, RAM, and processors.

You can keep the status quo all you want, but there is still a massive double standard. You all seem to forget that Sony won back everybodies trust because PS3 was in last place and something had to change.

Sony, while on the gamers good graces, introduced a MP paywall, throws in some rented games every month and calls it a day. And you guys love them for it. Your principles of the last 2 generations be damned. Gimme a break.
