PS3 was only a few million behind the mighty Wii in Japan, but the PSP, PS2 and even PS did great! Vita has turned itself around over there and only continued slacking sales in the west will hinder it. PS 4 only has a few games so far and has been out for just a little bit. It is no  where near as far behind as the PS3 was to the Wii last gen.
