I think Uncharted 3 is the best. The melee system actually works well, and as simple as it is, it's really fun and makes those parts really cinematic looking. The best levels in the series were the train, the entire ship graveyard, the cruise ship, and Nepal, two from Uncharted 2, two from Uncharted 3. After those everything from Uncharted 3 was better, then the rest of Uncharted 2 behind it.
Maybe people didn't like the action scene after action scene on Uncharted 3. I did. It's kind of like Barney's mix tape on How I Met Your Mother. "My own personal "get psyched mix". Now people think a good mix should rise and fall. But people are wrong. It should be all rise, baby! Now prepare yourselves for an audio journey to the white, hot center of adrenaline!"
