Johto is based off of the southern coastal region of Chubu. Hoenn is based off of Kyushu (rotated), and Sinnoh is based off of Hokkaido. I NEVER noticed that, haha. I knew that for some time, back when I was making a Pokemon game I picked part of a Japanese region to base my made up region. Sadly, this was before D/P's time and D/P took the same land so I had my friend to change my region's land shape, otherwise it would of have been a Sinnoh ripoff. .-.
