Your not going to see Proof/Fact in Faith, because it is unexplainable. Everyone has a little bit of Faith (many don't realize it) and Faith is used to prove the things that are supernatural and spiritual rather than facts and proof that prove the physical. You call Faith delusions because you can't see what they are proving but my argument is that it is bad to think that way. Faith isn't like Facts at all it is a parallel to Facts, and like Facts it proves things. But Facts prove Physically and Faith proves Spiritually. That's all.

How is it bad to face the truth and see that faith is an illusion and proves nothing at all? How can you consider faith as proof when you can't explain it. Proof is explainable and has evidences. Faith isn't an evidence. |
I think you keep missing my point. What do you think Faith is prooving? Faith proves things that cannot be Scientifically proven by facts, Faith is the proof that God Is. We use faith because we cannot explain it. However, Faith isnt (or shouldn't) be used for the physical world, but rather when speaking of God, or things Spiritual. Like a Fact would be the reason of How a Rainbow forms, and Faith would be the reason of Why a Rainbow Forms. Fact is that things die, Faith is that there is life after death. Faith doesn't intercede Fact and Fact doesn't intercede Faith. I'm not replacing Fact with Faith, i'm saying those two should co-exist in a proper Human mind.
