In my opinion, the Mass Effect 3 ending was the most colossal meltdown last generation. The drama within the fanbase was huge enough, but when the people who hate EA jumped on board, it blew up. I think that whole thing completely overshadowed the drama of Final Fantasy XIII going to the 360.
