Except you don't know if any of them will be great or not. (Not yet, at least.) And most of them are first- or second-party titles bolstered by the Sony Hype Machine, which is very good at making mediocre titles look amazing. (See: Motorstorm, Lair, Heavenly Sword.)
I'd imagine a lot of people picking the PS3, therefore, have their opinions skewed by how much hype exists for Sony's titles. Both Nintendo and MS have a lot of great exclusives coming out this year; they're just not hyped to hell and back.
