Definitely. I don't think Japan Studio have submitted to the "AAA or not at all" model yet so there's plenty of hope. Freedom Wars/Soul Sacrifice/Gravity Rush/Oreshika, though being handheld titles, are games that are somewhere in between being massive games and being niche games.
