Someone who plays candy crush for hours every day i would consider hardcore.

To be honest I would say Nintendo fans are probably the most hardcore of any group. Look at the sales of the console and the games that are selling. Year after year they feed Nintendo. Nintendo could release a broom stick and it would sell at least 5 million ad have games that sell over 3 million.
