Actually Applonious of Tyana was the one doing all the "miracles" and got crucified. The early christians just gave Jesus credit for it. Look into the history of Jesus and the other "messiahs" that lived at the same time as Jesus, beyond some gospels that were written decades after his death. The Jesus that people worship and pray to is a combination of various people, myths and prophecies tied up in a nice neat easy to deify package.
I don't use emotion to discern truth, even the bible warns against that.
The heart is more treacherous than anything else and is desperate. Who can know it? Jer. 17:9
He that is trusting in his own heart is stupid, but he that is walking in wisdom is the one that will escape. Prov 28:26 <----wisdom opposed to emotion
So yeah, you keep trusting in your heart and feelings to guide you, your own book calls that stupid.
