You can't force people into a specific way of gaming. Freedom is important and doing well in an environment where people actually want your product, that's innovation. If you have to force people to buy your add-on, then it's terrible and not innovative.

P.S. Ryse was suppose to only use Kinect controls and look at how crappy it turned out. Meanwhile Smash Bros for Wii plays better with traditional gamecube controllers.

Yes, Kinect was the most innovated thing to happen to computers since the mouse came out.  Name one other thing that has been innovative?  (Touch screens were out in the 70s.)

Ryse is a fun game.  It does seemed rushed, but a good game none the less.

There are plenty of fun games for the Kinect on the 360.

you really need to look up the difference between innovation and invention.

touch screens are the most innovative thing in computers in recent history because the way we interact with software will never be the same again.  kinect is a recent invention.  it could have been innovative but the market reject it.  because the market rejected it kinect isn't innovative.
