Why didn't MS leave the pricecut and app announcement for their E3 conference?

but WHY did they release a kinectless SKU then if it wasnt to increase sales.

They allways want to increase sales, doesn;t mean they did it because April and may looked less then stellar

They did it because of sales tho, they did it because there losing ground on there rivals, if sales this year had been higher it might not of happened. 

 

Dropping kinect was the quickest way they could get a price cut at retail, to increase sales, because there not good enough, it really is that simple.
