While it's nice to be optimistic about your favorite console, it's just sometimes helpful to be objective. Now that X1 dropped its price doesn't mean much, especially that it will start selling so insanely fast to make up the difference in a year.
If the price was the only factor, WiiU would be flying off the shelves right now, killing both competitors handily. And Ouya owners would be multibillionaires, acquiring Apple and Facebook for cash...
Sure, price drop helps a bit. It will probably help close that gaping 60K March Titanfall hole. It might actually win sme months. But its just too pretentious to think that Sony will just sit twiddling their thumbs without any counter moves. All they need to do is toss in a AAA download code into their $399 box and they're well on the way to outselling the resurrected XOne.
