Power of the almighty fairy tale you mean. Theres no infrastructure for the cloud to make everyone's X1 more powerful, nor will there be during the console's lifetime. You just have to think about it.
I dunno about dominating the US market. The idea i have of it is if you advertise enough, they will buy anything. Given that microsoft has more disposable incoming, i believe they can use that route effectively. I dont know how much money they are willing to lose to achieve it though, given its very unlikely they can reach number 1 worldwide.
