Why didn't MS leave the pricecut and app announcement for their E3 conference?

Maybe it really was starting to get leaked as some people are suggesting.

Maybe they'll announce something bigger and this is just the appetizer for that announcement.

I don't know what that'd be but sure, anything could happen.

That's why it's an E3 surprise ;)
