Based on games I've played from both companies, they're better than MonolithSoft. They've made seven Wild ARMs games, I haven't played Wild ARMs 5, but nothing else in the series was bad. Wild ARMs XF and Wild ARMs 4 were the worst ones and those were still good games. They made some DS, Wii, and co developed mobile RPGs with Square Enix, and I've never played those. MonolithSoft developed Xenogears which was amazing, but fastforward to the first Xenosaga the gameplay was awful(everything else more than made up for it though) and Xenosaga 2 which an overall bad game. They've also developed some other good/decent games. Imo, from what I've played, both developers have a higher percentage of quality based on other studios games, like Level 5 which is very hit or miss imo.
