Let me see if I have things straight.
1. He preferred Xbox over PS, and was vocal about it.
2. A situation arose in which he found himself playing PS systems. He found himself having some fun.
3. As the novelty of the new (to him) systems wore off, he looked back and realised he had had more fun on the Xbox.
4. He reverted back to being vocal about preferring Xbox over PS.
And this has you so upset that you refuse to remain friends with this person. Let's be honest - which part of the situation upset you? The part where he changed his mind, or the part where he found himself preferring Xbox after having experienced PS?
