It dosen't matter if there are people that prefer dedicated handhelds when there may no longer be any developers who care about the platform. Nintendo alone could keep the ship afloat for a few years, but overall handhelds are in a major decline like none other in the industry, and that is a fact. Just because you prefer hanhelds dosen't mean that developers will, they'll choose whichever platform gets them the highest profits, and in the future that will probably be mobile. I certainly hope handhelds don't die since I love my 3DS and Vita, but you need to look at reality, not just some misguided thought that developers care what the increasingly smaller minority prefers.
