Best Killzone game so far is without a doubt KZ2. Then come KZ3 and KZM. Replayability is what makes KZM such an incredible shooter, but it has some weak points in other aspects.

Killzone: Shadow Fall is just an insult not only to Killzone fans but also to the shooter genre.

Well, Soul Sacrifice Delta is almost here, finally! I've been waiting ages to play this kind of expansion. My only hope is that it's $29.99.

I'd say that's a pretty fair summary of the KZ franchise. KZ2 was massively under-rated due to coming out at the time when it was cool to hate on the PS3.

KillZone Merc's greatest downfall, s that it's a Killzone game. I love the new approach to the game, but I think it would probably have been better being a different IP.

KZ2 is my favorite PS3 shooter. It had an amazing story, detailed scenarios, cool missions, and one of the best villians of all time: Mael Radec. I really felt like I was in a war struggling so hard to just take a bridge or a building. God, it was really amazing, so realistic.

KZ3 -aside of its dumb plot and undetailed stages- tried to do too much in a single game, and I didn't felt like I was in a real war. It felt so unrealistic how you went from place to place that fast. However, it's not that bad, at least that's what I think after having played KZ: Shadow Fall.

And yeah, Mercenary could have sold better if it didn't have the "Killzone" name. At first I didn't like the game too much mainly because its story is not well developed, it doesn't have cut scenes, and its main character is forgetable. But, as soon as I started replaying the missions in different modes, I was shocked, it was so cool! It may have some weak points, but replayability is what makes it awesome.
