I feel that Nintendo might get a boost of sales for Mario Kart, but definitely not for Smash Bros.

It was an absolute mistake to sell the 3DS one in summer and Wii U one in winter.

Who's going to want that one when you could've played the same game 6 months ago on the already extremely popular console that costs less?

Also, tis definitely NOT the time to buy, as the only game you know for sure is on the horizon is Smash for Winter.

When is Bayo coming out? Or X? They haven't released that info, and it could come out in 2015 for all we know.

Wait til after E3 to tell people to get a Wii U.

Probably people who like to play co op on a big screen with friends and especially at parties.

I can understand that.

However, I still think that the people who want the game to play it with friends are just going to get a 3DS, since it's cheaper and has a bigger library of games to purchase and more people have one than a Wii U.

I remember having whole parties circling around the DS when I was a kid, having 8 people at a time playing Mario Kart DS.

Being that the levels are completely different, plus instead of playing at 240p you can play it at 720p (though I think both will be 60fps) and the fact that not only are their different stages for Wii U and 3DS but also the same stages have different designs I think it will be enough to entice gamers to get it for the Wii U. Plus by then around 9 million should projectedly have the console, it should sell fairly well.

So, a few more levels (despite the 3DS version having exclusive levels too), better graphics, and different designs of levels is going to convince people to spend $360 on the same game and a new console?

Yeah, I really really doubt it.

Most of the people who get this game aren't gonna look at the pretty graphics and the slight level changes.

Now, if it was a new story mode? Maybe. Different characters? You know it! Lots of brand new ways to play the game? Of course!

But a few level changes and some graphics?

.... Nah.

And 9 million Wii U's? When the only game coming out for 6 months is Mario Kart? Can we expect Mario Kart to sell 3 million units?
