Without the DRM stuff people would've accepted the price and Kinect much more readily. But since they were already pissed every little detail just pushed them further away. Don't forget there are still people who don't know that the 180 happened.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
