| kupomogli said: Mass Effect. I purchased the trilogy when it was $20 and put some time into the first game. I didn't like it but Wright got me to give another chance. My second playthrough I completed the game, and it's not a bad game, but not really a great game either. It's a decent game though and I have a feeling the second game is going to be good so long as they fixed a lot of issues I've had with the first game. |
Mass Effect 2 and 3 are exponentially better than the first one. They have much better plots and the gameplay is way better. You should play them through at least once. The trilogy is my favorite game of the last generation. I don't even really consider them seperate games.
Some people do give these games crap though, because they streamlined some of the RPG aspects that were present in the first game, but honestly it is better off. A lot of the RPG systems in the first one were broken. Inventory, powers, etc. were convoluted in the first one. In two and three they are more streamlined so you can focus more on the story and gameplay.
