I agree about microtransactions. That's why I am yet to buy Forza 5 and wi t do so until its real cheap and used. Can't support these shenanigans.
More than the sense of being cheated that you described, game design is a bigger issue to me. They always make it more tedious and time consuming to unlock stuff when they offer quick unlock microtransactions.
