Its funny because I would think people would respond exactly the same way they are now if it were exclusive to Sony......albiet with a lot more console war bragging, as you know, majority fanbase and what not.

honestly, just no.  "we" didn't brag about all those ratchet and clank exclusives.  "we" didn't brag about all those resistance exclusive (sans the lead up to the first) either.  insomniac is AA not AAA.  

you know what the one thing i haven't seen in these sunset overdrive threads is?  kowenicki.  i'll bet i can guess why too. (1, 2)   his bickering with certain sony fans annoys me to death but when he isn't engaged in mortal kombat he's pretty principled in his opinions which i respect a lot.

sunset overdrive will be and good AA game but i'll take any terms you want right now that it's meta is under 85 just like everything else in the last 6 years.

Just going on the general principle that exclusives are by default liked before release. All fan groups are like this. PS fans happen to be the most numerous here so I feel my thoughts are arguable if it happened.

That said, I don't expect a 90 meta. But even their games in the 80's got a fair amount of fan hype and praise. Not through the roof, but praise nonetheless.

I think it will go down like Infamous: low 80's meta yet still is respected and praised by the fans.
