Arent the microtransaction just the buying extras for the plus edition, if you buy the full game you get the full game. 

they are to unlock th cars sooner tha just progressing through the game

ah unfortunatley that is getting to be pretty standard these days, paying for cheats will be standard in all games soon i fear.
