It seems the point of owning a Mac is the OS that comes along with it. Otherwise, you're just buying an overprice piece of hardware. Maybe it's just my University, but the Macs there run much more efficient than the PCs (they use Windows XP Professional) not to mention the PCs break down more often (although the PCs greatly outnumber the Macs). However, I only use Macs for multimedia experience. For work, it has to be the PCs.
