Insomniac are better off without Sony if Sony are not going to let Insomniac grow as a company, in fact I would say sony has been a hindrance to Insomniac all these years. Imagine what IP they could have in their stable right now if they didn't work on Resistance and Ratchet and didn't even get IP rights to those franchises anyway??
Insomniac want to grow as an independent company and Microsoft has allowed that to happen.
