The way they phrased not the fact that they are releasing.
On the article linked they answered to fans of PS platforms that the reason they aren't releasing there and just on X1 is because MS is terrific partners (not saying they aren't).
Bussiness are bussiness, and there are no feeling, but public image still exists and when you can be interpreted as tarnishing it you have a problem.
