Insomniac was never very good, they were just said to be good because they were Sony exclusive, and Sony has so many fans who automatically praise any sony exclusive. once they went multiplat they no longer had that effect, so people were free to say the truth about their games. It doesn't bother me that they call Microsoft a terrific partner because that's probably true. Though my Spyro and PlayStation nostalgia took a little hit when the guy from Insomniac said that Sunset Overdrive was the game they've been wanting to make for the last 20 years.
It's a little like if your girl says: "You stuck with me through thick (Spyro + early R&C) and thin (Resistance + late R&C) but now I'm back and better than ever and leaving you for your rich rival."
SO looks great though ;p
