I already explained. At first they let it seem like everything was realtime (but weren't clear, it had space for their second explanation), because it was still using the same engine, but pre-recorded as I just said.
PS3 wasn't capable of running it realtime (or at least SSM couldn't make it happen), I do agree they were misleading (but didn't lied, because they were vague and open in advance, certainly planned for that in the speak).
