It made sense because you were skeeping phases... no company would self-sabotage itself by cutting the sales forecast by like 70% and still not meet it.
If Iwata was a good planner as you think they would probably release a console not getting so much loss that is better not to sell it (in your words). So Your post is so full of holes that it can't even stand.
