So far according to SCEE and the guys from evolution studios ,theres only a retail version and free digital lite version which can be upgraded to the full version buy paying 50 bucks for it . If they wanted to sell digital and retail ,, all they need to do was to release a demo for all psn users and if psn users love the game,, then they can either purchase it from psn store or buy it at retail. Its pretty simple right?

If you look here

http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2014/05/07/whats-included-driveclub-playstation-plus-edition/

They say

"If you’re not an active PlayStation Plus member, you can still get DRIVECLUB via the PlayStation Store or your local retailer on Blu-ray."

So that confirms that there is a regular digital version.
