Op. If you've been paying attention, you'll see that I've been bashing Sony left and right for nothing but ports and throwing praise Microsoft and Nintendo's way, but, we're at the start of the gen and Sony always does this. For every system they own except for the Vita, Sony hasn't really done crap when it comes to supporting their consoles in the first two years. For the Vita, Sony actually really pushed out a lot of games for launch and launch window, but they didn't do much with it since except for ports and a game here and there.
Microsoft just like Sony has also had similar launches for their previous two consoles, the Xbox and the 360. With both consoles, Microsoft came out swinging. They funded the development and bought a lot of exclusives the first few years. Microsoft didn't secure, fund, or develop nearly as many exclusives after the first few years though. There were still exclusives, but the amount dropped way off.
The reason I've been bashing Sony isn't because games aren't going to come, because they will, but the company doesn't take the initiative and have these games well into development prior to the consoles release.
Imo, Microsoft is probably going to blow their wad within the first few years like they did the last two gens trying to get as many gamers as possible during that time and then first party support is going to slow to a crawl.
