Most of them are willing to pay 5$ and rarely 15$... Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate and 4 look better also you can emulate PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable ajd Wii to play Monster Hunter games in case are being stingy or something of if you already own the game... How much is Capcom selling this game? 0.99? 1.99? 4.99? 14.99??? They will be lucky if they sell 100K as Monster Hunter fans are on 3DS with newest and the best MH games on the system... Also rarely anyone owns a controler for their smartphone... So 20-40$ to spend... |
~ 16 bucks Dragon Quest 8 on iOS is 28 dollars (released December) but is still in the daily top 50 of paid apps in Japan.. the last month released Dragon Quest 4 is 17 dollars and is in the daily top 20 of paid apps in Japan
Japan spends as much money on smartphone games as on the total console market (software + yes, hardware) its 50% of the total Japanese game market

You forgot to include 70 to 80 percent of all profit comes from free-to-play. The dragon question is nowhere near the free to play games and very few played games at any price do as well as free-to-play. Your narrative isn't a very good one one when you just post graphs without explaining what is actually making money.
