i didn't want to be that guy either  but i have to agree.  there is something missing to make if feel awesome.  the characters and music feel,.. generic.  honestly, that was the same thing that turned me off to resistance. 

Main protagonist is 100% customizable and can be male or female. This is simply the stock character model
