This sounds so much like Infamous that I doubt Sony would have ever paid for it. I can't help but wonder if they pitched to EA or another publisher or if they went to the console manufacturers first.
I'm totally 'wait and see' on this. Nothing much has been shown yet and Insomniac's recent track record is mediocre.
