I don't think the amount of translators is the problem, it's not like they'd have the money to hire more. And we know how people are complaining about digital games, it only really works if the games are extremely cheap or are on PC

edit: also a near or simulataneous release is a major problem considering a developer might change the text during the translation

An english translator or two shouldn't be too expensive for a company, especially since they will be releasing in a lot more markets. Digital sales are picking up faster than ever, especially on console, so companies will soon have no excuse for not spending a little extra money to bring games over to the west. The only real cost is the cost of translation, after that digital sales are infinitely cheaper on the publisher than physical.
