Western Easter (or catholic easter, since they are the ones who made that calendar) operates under a different calendar than Orthodox Easter and thus is usually at a different date in the year. Orthodox Easter can't be before Jewish passover, because Jesus had The Last Supper on passover, and it's kinda ridiculous to say you are accurately celebrating Easter if you are doing it 5 weeks before passover.
