Linux is a set of operating systems superior to all others. It's freeware , and there is even a version of linux where you could make your own operating system. If windows wasn't the main platform for games I would have linux as my primary operating system right now. I still could use wine , but that is too much work. |

It is an operating system like windows , and mac. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux Imo it is better than all other operating systems.
ALso it is incorrect to say mac's and linux users don't get virus. They do just not as many as windows. Windows is the main operating system with a far larger userbase than the other two. This means that there are more people to make these viruses for it leading to more viruses.
