Titanfall is a fun multiplayer FPS, but doesn't really have anything else that differentiates it from other shooters. Due to the fact the game also lacked longevity, it got old pretty quickly. Titanfall got so much unnecessary hype and that excess amount of hype hurt the game, in my opinion. As for the actual topic at hand, yeah it was meaningless for Titanfall to be Xbox and PC only. MS and EA have been eerily quiet about it and it can be safely hypothesized that Titanfall didn't meet their expectations.
