The reality is multiple "8.5" games have won GOTY awards. Also, what were people expecting exactly? Is there an absolute metascore or something? I'd love to read about it.

What is it about Titanfall that makes people who don't even play the game have wildly higher expectations than those who actually play and enjoy it? It's bizarre.
