It's strange. I was blown away by the beta and have it in my sig and even I didn't expect it to win awards in March. I guess ethomaz is just really really really really impressed by the title. Of course, I doubt he has even played it.
And sorry etho but you're wrong again. Borderlands, Dishonored, Animal Crossing, Ass Creed 3, Blops 2, Psychonauts, Wii Sports, Dragon Age.. I feel I could go on and on and on here with games that received awards with meta scores in the 80's.
Also, are you saying GTA V is GOTY for 2013? It is a 97 rated game compared to LoU 95. Or let me guess, in this case review score doesn't matter?
