This pretty much Instead of Resident Evil 7 give us 7 and Resident Evil Revelations 2 xD .

Let one focus on the action aspect and the other on horror, that or just reboot the whole series .

I think it's the smarter move.  Not every game can meet everyone's expectation.  I just hope RE doesn't die because they are trying to fit the same shoe on everyone when there are clearly two camps here.
